The group decided to hold a face-to-face meeting at Procter & Gamble’s Technical Center in West Chester OH the week of January 10. The goal of this meeting is to develop a detailed model of several simple control entities used in packaging and processing applications and consider how they might be described using standard tools such as XML. If interested contact P&G’s Dave Chappell at chappell.da@pg.com.

Make2Pack is a joint working group of the World Batch Forum the OMAC Packaging Workgroup and ISA SP-88. Its goal is to develop standards to address automation techniques and approaches useable across all of manufacturing.
