WeighPack Systems has introduced the Swifty™ SB-1200 Big Bag horizontal bagger for premade, stand-up bags ranging from 8 to 18 in. L and from 8 to 12 in. W. A versatile resource for the food and nonfood industries, bagger is suitable for packaging bulk products.
Featuring a new encoder with a home proximity switch, the bagger’s PLC uses pulses from the encoder to determine the position of the shaft. Automatically positions the premade bag to be opened, filled, flattened, and sealed before discharging on the integrated outfeed conveyor.
