The 2000’-long 1-gal line comprises twin robot depalletizers automated debaggers 30-valve filler servo controlled laner case packer palletizer and stretchwrapper (see October ‘01 p.34 or packworld/go/ naturesway). The 2.5 gal portion is separate until the line flow combines ahead of the case packer. The 2.5-gal operation has its own debaggers filler closure applicator and conveyoring to the casepacker that are all networked. Currently Nature’s Way can run either 1- or 2.5-gal containers but when production volumes increase the plant can expand to run both lines simultaneously.
