Buhmann tray erector is the smooth, silent type

The first thing you noticed at Buhmann Systeme's interpack booth was the quiet. Their Servokart C400 tray erector ran virtually silent and the mechanical operation was exceptionally smooth. That translates to gentle package handling and a mechanically solid machine.

Representative of a full line of filling and end-of-line systems, the new machine erects folding box and display cartons from flat corrugate and solid fiberboard blanks, and folds and glues bottom flaps. The blanks are optimized to reduce material usage by up to 30% compared to conventional blanks.

The C400 is also compact, ergonomic and highly automated, requiring no format change parts.

It's extremely small footprint is enabled by ELAU Intelligent Servo Modules that minimize electrical cabinet size and allow mounting on top of the machine.

Intuitive, menu-driven, 5-minute format changes require no change parts. Video-guided instructions and motorized ‘push button' format change are options. Excellent access is provided to the carton magazine and outfeed, around all sides of the machine, and for service.

Other interesting options include stacking, automatic product loading, gluing of corner stiffeners and Ethernet data acquisition interface.
