Klöckner Hänsel (Sarasota, FL) offers a servo-driven Pack-2000SC slug wrapper that operates at speeds to 150 slugs/minute. Designed for freestanding biscuits and crackers on edge, system can accommodate a wide range of sizes and tolerances.
It will be shown with a new high-speed Houdijk continuous-motion loader which forms and builds slugs from the baking line. Loader keeps product weight within tight tolerances. A weight signal from the checkweigher can be sent back to the loader which automatically changes the count of biscuits/crackers while the machine is running.
