High-speed pouching machine

The PK3000 is a new horizontal form/fill/seal continuous-web pouch machine from R.A. Jones (Cincinnati, OH). The system is 40% smaller than Jones' PK4000.

It's also more economical and runs at slightly lower speeds. It reaches speeds to 950 pouches/min.

Product changeovers take about 30 min and are accomplished with snap-out change parts and knobs. Pouch size changeovers take a few hours and are accomplished with change parts. A remote knife system uses an independent servo motor for added flexibility in footprint configurations.
