With the PacDrive automation system from Elau (Chicago, IL), the digital servo amplifiers and servo motors are furnished with an electronic-type plate.

Data are stored in the motor. Because the amplifier reads the motor data the default parameters are automatically detected during commissioning. Via an Ethernet interface users can read and exchange the firmware status of the control and amplifier or access motor data via the Internet.
