SICK Optic-Electronic's (Eden Prairie, MN) W.250 line of photoelectric sensors is suited for a range of applications including presence/ absence detection and fill-height monitoring in a bin.
The family includes a through-beam switch with a 20-m (65.63') range; a reflex switch with a 8-M (26.25') range and a polarizing filter to prevent false readings from reflective objects; and both short- and long-range proximity sensors with adjustable background suppression.
