Luminescence sensors

Banner Engineering’s new QL Series of microprocessor-controlled luminescence sensors detect luminescence inherent in a material or sense luminophores added to a material in process to make it luminescent.

QL50 and QL55 self-contained sensors use a modulated UV LED to scan for luminescence in materials and they are not affected by color and contrast shifts. Both models offer push-button programming and feature a 250-microsecond response time and 2 bright LEDs to indicate operating and output status.
