The LUT 3-8 luminescence sensor from SICK Optic-Electronic (Eden Prairie, MN) combines high switching frequency and a fast response time with the convenience of a semiconductor UV light source and a more compact design.
The new light source eliminates the need to change lamps reducing downtime. Many lenses are available to vary detection range. PNP or NPN output is available.
