Laser scanning sensor

A new version of the Lasernet® scanning laser sensor from Namco Controls (Mentor, OH) employs a solid-state laser diode light source instead of helium-neon laser tubes.

Lasts four times as long as the previous version using fewer re-lamping outages and reducing downtime and maintenance costs. The Lasernet scans its 90° field of view 20 times/sec gathering real-time position length width distance and profile data.
