Hyde Park Electronics: Analog sensor
Hyde Park Electronics (Dayton, OH) has introduced the Superprox® Model SM606 Series of analog sensors. They continuously monitor the distance to an object and generate a proportional 0- to 10-V output.
Said to be one of the smallest and fastest high-resolution analog sensors available it can sense materials of all colors as small as 1/16" in dia within fixed windows ranging from 11/4" to 6" .
