Norden Inc. has equipped its entire range of Generation 3 tube fillers and cartoners with PackML. PackML is a specification from the Open Modular Architecture Controls (OMAC) Packaging Workgroup for simplifying integration of packaging machinery on a network.
Embedded in the Norden EasyWare™ automation solution PackML is enabled by Elau’s PacDrive™ integrated motion and logic technology using the IEC 61131-3 programming language standard. As a result EasyWare machines can achieve a throughput range from 85 to 500 tubes/min with up to 46 servos per line.
