Data gateway modules

From Advantech's Industrial Automation Group comes the EDG-4100W and EDG-4110W, serial to wireless 802.11b boards for enabling wireless networking.

Their 54mmx59mm compact design fits into almost any legacy OEM serial device and connects it to wireless Ethernet. Virtual COMport mapping is provided by both modules for convenient communications with host PC though a wireless network. Priced from $250.
