Servo drives

Ormec has expanded its networked servo drive line with the release of the SD Drive family, featuring IEEE 1394b technology. More robust, efficient, and faster than the 1394a network, the new technology defines a roadmap to 3.2 G-bit signaling, as well as definitions for additional communications media.

ServoWire SD Drives include an analog input that can be used within the drive or by the host controller allowing high-performance tension control within the drive. SD family consists of 14 drives ranging in size from 3 to 60 amps.
