Rockwell Automation: Rockwell Automation: Controls improve vf/f/s operations
Bosch Packaging (Bridgman, MI) adds controls and servomotor drives from Rockwell Automation (Milwaukee, WI) to Model SVE 2510 vf/f/s machines. With Allen-Bradley ControlLogix™ networking onboard, the improvement allows users to customize and adjust the continuous-motion machine’s settings quickly and precisely.
All functions interface through an A-B PanelView™ 1000 display that stores up to 100 programs.
The vf/f/s unit produces up to 120 bags/min in widths from 3” to 10’’ and lengths of 3” to 16’’ in pillow stand-up side-gusseted and stand-up block-bottom designs. It bags snacks cereals coffee detergents and other free-flowing particulate and powder products.
