It can be used not only as a mechanical and/or pneumatic gripper, but also as a reliable and positionable support for a vacuum generator. It offers variable gripping force for gripping soft or hard workpieces, and independent positioning of the gripper jaws as a basic prerequisite for assembly work. Other HGPPI advantages include positioning accuracy of +/- 0.1 mm, high gripping forces for reliability, short cycle times, small footprint, and fast, free adaptation to a range of different applications.
