The VisualMotion open motion/machine control from the Electric Drives and Controls business unit of Bosch Rexroth Corp. shortens changeover time and boosts accuracy for packaging equipment, company says.

Precision servo drives replace rigid mechanical elements such as gears shafts and cams. Hardware for the Rexroth PPC a combined motion and logic controller can operate up to 40 axes of motion on a single controller. Up to 32 controllers can be synchronized.
