Aerotech offers its BLMFS5 Series ‘flat’ linear motors that provide 25% more power, in an equivalent envelope, than competing models, company says.

Benefits include: a steel-core forcer coil that provides high per unit volume continuous force to 377 N (85 lb) peak force to 1500 N (339 lb) unlimited travel length by stacking magnet tracks optional water cooling for highest throughput and more. Motor can be driven using standard Aerotech brushless amplifiers and controllers to provide a complete integrated system.
