The LS-500 high-speed conveyor from Interlake Matl. Handling Div. (Lisle, IL) reaches speeds of up to 500'/min. It uses zones of rollers instead of drive bands or individual rollers for direct power from the shaft through drive modules.
This direct drive concept allows quiet handling of a variety of loads says the company. Individual drive modules can be independently actuated for accumulation applications or fixed for transport mode.
