Integrated motion control

In response to packaging OEM and end-user demands for integrated motion control, the Allen-Bradley Kinetix™6000 servo drive from Rockwell Automation (Milwaukee, WI) is designed to make wiring, programming, operation, and diagnostics faster and easier.

It features a fiber-optic SERCOS digital interface and a Power Rail mounting and wiring system instead of DIN rails for fast uncomplicated installation. Built-in smart motor technology provides automatic identification of specific motor configurations. The 230 volt-unit is in a compact size that’s up to 50% smaller than competing 230- to 460-volt drives.
