Long-term cost savings are also realized through the use of patented Caged Technology, a QZ Lubricator, and electro-mechanical components. Caged Technology separates rolling elements with a synthetic resin cage that contains grease and reduces maintenance costs, while the QZ Lubricator ensures optimal lubrication within the ball screw unit. Type VLA replaces pneumatic cylinders in many applications, and its electro-mechanical components offer improved energy efficiency, as well as cleaner, quieter operation. Available in slide and cylinder types, units are compatible with the most popular AC or DC servo motor controller packages. Rated speeds on the actuators range from 300 to 600mm/sec, while ball screw leads are from 6mm to 12mm.
