Flow wrapper for heat- or cold-sealable films
The Pack 300 from Klockner Bartelt Medipak (Sarasota, FL) is a new servo-driven system for flow wrapping products in heat- or cold-sealable films. Operating at speeds of 300+ packages/min, depending on product and packaging material, the Pack 300 is suitable for multi-shift, non-stop production.
A special box motion cross-seal unit option creates hermetic seals making it suitable for perishable products such as cheese and meat. Its compact size measuring 5.25' L x 3.75' W x 5.5' H (without infeed) fits easily into most processing areas. No-tool changeover is handled with electronic controls and a SERCOS-interface servo drive.
