Drive motors with tachometer

For use in applications where precise speed regulation is required, Baldor Electric (Ft. Smith, AR) offers SCR-rated Permanent Magnet DC Motors with precision integral DC tachometers.

These motors offer feedback to the SCR control to improve the set speed regulation of the drive. As a package it offers a more compact size and lower cost than adding a tachometer to a standard motor says Baldor.
