Amacoil, Inc: Space-saving linear drive
The addition of an extra bearing in Amacoil Uhing model RG3 linear drives doubles side thrust capacity without significantly increasing the length of the drive.
For example an RG3-30 drive provides 60 lb of axial thrust with 150-mm L housing. The 4-bearing option (RG4_30 delivers 120 lb of thrust with a housing only 30mm longer than the RG3. Users faced with limited space and high thrust requirements can increase thrust with the 4-bearing option as a less expensive alternative to buying a larger drive.
