Omron announces safety certification for 3G3MX2 AC drives--open loop control drives with built-in safety inputs and external device monitoring output.

Equipped with an array of advanced functionality including 200% at 0.5
Hz, positioning control, simple network configuration with built-in
Modbus communications. Easily integrates into safety systems while
reducing the hardware and installation costs. Safety embedded features
eliminate the requirement for a redundant dual contactor set-up at the
output of the Drive. The built-in safety function is certified in
accordance with EN60204-1 Stop Category 0 (Safe torque off). Provides
an External Device Monitoring (EDM) output that confirms the safety
status of the AC Drive.
