Bosch Rexroth (Hoffman Estates, IL) introduces WinPRM AddOn software for System 200 PLC controllers. Software simplifies preventive maintenance management and ensures machine uptime by monitoring the operation of machine components when maintenance events become due, company says. WinPRM monitors component operation in two ways.
If the predetermined time period in which the scheduled task is exceeded the affected component is color coded on-screen to indicate the condition. An additional alarm message can be activated if the maximum time period of the maintenance task expired. Software also features online help for maintenance operations and detailed maintenance documentation.
