PMC Industries' (Hackensack, NJ) new high-speed capper applies pump caps at speeds to 300/min. A programmable controller governs machine operations, including the flow of caps from the sorter and automatic shutdown in case of overloads at transfer points.

Inspection system built into the PLC network checks for the pressure of dip tubes caps and overcaps and has an auto reject mechanism. Machine handles special caps such as lotion dispensers and trigger sprayers as well as conventional caps.
