George Gordon Assoc., Inc: Automated layer pack case loading system
Layer Pac Model LP-1000 case loading system from George Gordon Associates (Nashua, NH) forms layers on a live matrix generating table to eliminate back pressure.
Suitable for decorated or odd-shaped items. Items are transferred in rows from the conveyor to the matrix table where dense patterns are created. Offers 50% more density than other methods while eliminating damage says the company. Accommodates a range of packing configurations including square offset and offset-less-than-one-pack in case sizes up to a 29" cube. Options include multiple carton infeed/discharge configurations and tooling for different container sizes.
