The Superflow® PC is a new electronic fin-seal wrapper from Ilapak (Newtown, PA) that uses an industrial PC for faster output, increased memory and greater capabilities over PLCs, says Ilapak.
It can reach speeds to 500 products/min depending on the number of sealing heads and product size. Up to 100 programs can be stored and easily accessed via keyboard and touchscreen control monitor. Works with most heat-sealable films including cellophane PP PVC and aluminum foil.
