Compared with current PC-based controllers, XFC is said to offer improvements by a factor of 10, while enabling cycle times of 100 microseconds without giving up central intelligence and the associated high-performance algorithms. Also offers improved temporal accuracy and enhanced resolution, while offering users new alternatives for enhancing the quality of their machines and reducing response times. Measuring tasks or documentation of part quality can be integrated into the machine control without additional, costly special devices. The product range is divided into 4 main categories: TwinCAT, EtherCAT, EtherCAT Terminals, and Industrial PCs.
