TOSS Machine Components (Nazareth, PA) introduces the RES-400 series machine controller that oversees all heat-seal functions without requiring a supplemental programmable logic controller.
The controller continually monitors and controls the temperature of the heat-seal element via a “closed- loop” system so that the actual temperature always equals the preset temperature. The easy-to-use and calibrate unit provides consistent heat seals under changing operating conditions; improves package integrity; and extends tool life and yields minimal downtime. It has digital display and touchpad input.
