Viskase Corporation: Barrier bag
SPP™ surface post pasteurization bags from Viskase (Chicago, IL) have been specifically designed for ready-to-eat meats that undergo thermal post packaging processing to reduce surface bacteria counts.
The bags are multilayer coextrusions of PE PP and either PVdC or EVOH. The bags are available in a wide range of flat widths and lengths and can be printed flexographically in up to 8 colors.
