Medkeff-Nye's (Akron, OH) Universal series of form/fill/seal machines is designed to replace lid-sealing of externally sourced, preformed trays.

It forms and seals trays using PVC PET and PETG. Lids can be formed with a range of materials including Tyvek® paper and foil. Maximum tray size is 11" x 19" x 43/4". Sheet-fed top and bottom stock permits quick changeovers within five minutes says the company.
