Synthetic paper for IML

Yupo Corp. (Chesapeake, VA) has introduced Yupo® synthetic paper for in-mold labeling applications. Preprinted PP substrate can be inserted into molds prior to blow-molding bottles to create a "no-label" look.

Currently available to the Latin American packaging and converting markets it can be printed on offset flexographic or gravure presses and is suitable for a range of cosmetics toiletry and household package labels.
