For use in ultrasonic plastic welding, a new pneumatic clamp and eject system from Branson Ultrasonics (Danbury, CT) is custom-designed to fit specific parts.
The operator places the part in the fixture and presses a button to activate the welder. Air cylinders clamp the part in place as welding takes place. It can then be removed manually or with an automatic eject cylinder.
