Motion controller

The NextMove BX motion controller from Baldor (Fort Smith, AK) can control up to four axes of servo or closed-loop vector, more than 500 points of I/O and two serial ports, all in one unit.

High-speed motion control is achieved with the unit's floating point DSP which runs at 32 MHz. Two CAN ports permit I/O expansion and serial ports allow the NextMove BX to control intelligent instruments such as bar-code readers while connected to a plant-wide supervisory controller.
