Membrane sealer

The metFoil® Sealer from Frei (Wittenbach, Switzerland) is an aluminum membrane sealing machine for welded cans with curled flanges. Foil rollstock is first uncoiled and a tear tab affixed.

Membranes are punched out in a selected size from 65 mm (2.6") to 117 mm (4.6") dia then tacked onto the curled flange and hermetically sealed. Operates at speeds to 150 containers/min. Dual-machine production capacity is possible.
