Markem-Imaje: FDA-compliant blue ink
Imaje (Kennesaw, GA) has introduced a blue ink compliant with FDA regulations for direct contact with food. In addition to the safeness of the ink, the color provides better contrast, enabling higher legibili-ty of the code.
The ink currently is being used for coding directly on pharmaceutical pills eggs and cheese.
