Rubbright-Brody (Eagan, MN) has published a new report asserting that irradiation technology can eliminate E. coli from fresh meats while extending shelf life.
"Food Irradiation Today" suggests reasons why the process is not gaining popularity with government agencies retailers or consumers although it has been demonstrated to be safe.
