Inverter-duty gearmotors

Baldor Electric announces new inverter-duty gearmotors designed for use with adjustable speed controls. The line is rated at 3/8 HP, 230 v, 60 Hz, 3-phase.

Operating range of 10-90 Hz features a range of ratios in both right-angle and parallel-shaft configurations. Inverter Spike Resistant magnet wire protects against voltage spikes and corona damage. Gearmotors also feature enclosed fan-cooled IP-44 protection higher output and increased protection against environmental conditions. Applications include packaging conveyors machine tools and material handling.
