Thiele Engineering (Minneapolis, MN) has introduced its Series 50 intermittent-motion cartoner. With a footprint of 8' x 4', the company claims it is the industry's smallest intermittent-motion cartoner.
It handles up to 60 cartons/min in sizes from 3/4" x 1/2" x 3 1/4" to 9 3/4" x 6 1/2" x 16". Users can choose from a 5" 10" or 11.25" pitch. Changeovers take only minutes.
