Indramat PPC controller from Bosch Rexroth Corp. (Hoffman Estates, IL) has new high-speed programmable limit switch functionality. Integration of PLS controls into the PPC machine controller eliminates the need for third-party involvement, including programming and networking time.

The high-speed PLS operates at 250-microsecond resolution and is capable of up to 32 outputs 8 different sources of master information and up to 64 switch events.
