The 192 Orifice Ink Jet Printhead from Imaging Technologies (Cookesville, TN) offers 43% more character height with a single printhead. Called the Six-Shooter(TM), it produces a 32 x 192 matrix with six orifices per channel.

Fires six dots per channel instead of the standard three enabling print height to be increased from 0.84" to 1.25" for taller text on graphics. Can be configured to print a 0.625 magnification for Interleaved 2 of 5 bar code with a single print head.
