Markem has introduced a hand-held user interface as standard equipment for the SmartLase® 100i Series of laser coders. New device supports complex graphic characters with its WYSIWYG graphics display and is simple to program and operate, even with complex text legend or code requirement.
Interface uses simple icons for operation and programming minimizing the need for operator training and maximizing uptime. The SmartLase coders are digital compact CO2 lasers suitable for use on primary packaging such as cartons labels glass and PET bottles used in the pharmaceutical cosmetic personal care food and beverage and household chemical industries.
