Decorating system

Krones (Franklin, WI) introduces Thermocol, a patent-pending heat transfer container decorating system. An alternative to p-s and applied ceramic labeling, the process uses Krones' Autocol rotary labeler to transfer high-impact graphics, including photos and half-tones, from a web onto glass, plastic or metal containers at rates to 500/min.

Marketed towards high-volume container manufacturers and packagers of beverage household personal care and food products. Said to provide savings of up to 50% compared with p-s labeling.
