Using radial blowers, Krones’ (Franklin, WI) new air conveyor transports plastic bottles by aiming air underneath the neck rings. The process decreases abrasive friction without blowing air directly into bottles’ mouths.
Guiderails can be adjusted manually or pneumatically to accommodate various bottle sizes and types. An aseptic version of the conveyor is also available.
