Robot show
Held June 3-5 in Rosemont, IL, the International Robots & Vision Show and Conference drew 5굛 visitors to the booths of 175 exhibitors. The show is held every two years, so the next one is scheduled for 2005, most likely in June.
Debuting at the show was the 2003-2004 Robotics Industry Directory and a new CD-ROM called “The Robot Files.” The CD-ROM includes nearly 100 case studies about robotic installations. In addition it includes a Web-enabled guide to systems integrators and extensive information on safety and cost justification. Both the directory and the CD-ROM are available from the Robotic Industries Assn.
Conference sessions at the recent show drew 350 attendees. Among the presentations was Introduction to robotic packaging and palletizing by Matt Job of Fanuc Robotics. Part of Job’s presentation included the table shown here.
Complete conference proceedings are available for purchase from RIA.
