Self-contained noncontact control reliable proximity sensor monitors 180° of its surroundings out to a radius of 164'. As a stationary sensor the PLS can guard hazardous areas eliminating mechanical barriers and preventing inadvertent machine stops while protecting personnel. As a mobile sensor the PLS replaces tactile safeguards such as bumpers on AGVs. PLS Utility Software for Windows is included.
