• Power Packaging (www.powerpackaging.com), St. Charles, IL, a contract manufacturer and packager, has formed a strategic partnership with Snapsil Corp., Australian developers of a patented snapping utensil for the North American food and beverage markets. The product gives consumers an on-the-go, single-serve package that is both an eating utensil and also can dispense powders, granules, creams, or liquids.
• DePaul Industries’ (www.depaulpackaging.com) Food & Consumer Goods Packaging Division is offering food and beverage kitting services, which batch different products and product SKUs in a brand family together to create a custom package unit.
• Saddle Creek Corp., a contract packaging and third party logistics company, has appointed Ruth Barnes vice president of human resources. A 30-year veteran, she will oversee human resources operations for more than 1,600 Saddle Creek employees at 46 facilities across the nation.
